今早珀斯东部发生一起驾车枪击事件，警方正在呼吁寻找目击者。
 
大约凌晨1点15分，警方接到Wattle Grove枪击举报后迅速赶往现场。调查发现有人从车里向外开枪多次，当时车停在Silica Road的一所住宅。
 
虽然当局没有收到人员伤亡报告，但警方仍在调查此次暴力袭击。该地区道路已被封锁并有大量警察值守。
 
几名居民说他们被街对面的枪声吵醒。当地妇女Krysten Taylor告诉《西澳大利亚人报》，她听到“至少两声砰砰声”，但街上很暗，她什么也没看见。她说：“我家的狗疯狂乱叫，它把我们吵醒了。”她还说：“我们当时不觉得那是枪声，因为听起来就像砰砰砰的吵声。”

Shots ring out in overnight drive-by shooting in Silica Road in Wattle Grove
正文 Police are calling for witnesses after a drive-by shooting in Perth’s east early this morning.
 
About 1.15am crews responded to reports of gunshots in Wattle Grove.
 
Investigations led to the discovery that multiple shots had been fired from a vehicle at a house in Silica Road.
 
No injuries were reported to authorities; however, inquiries into who is behind the violent attack are continuing.
 
The West Australian understands the road has been taped off, with a heavy police presence in the area.
 
Several residents said they woke up from the sound of the loud crack of gunshots ring out across the street.
 
Local woman Krysten Taylor told The West Australian she’d heard “at least a couple bangs” but didn’t see anything on the dark street.
 
“It woke us up more because our dog was going crazy,” she said.
 
“We (didn’t) think that it was gunshots as it sounded like more of a banging noise.”
